Castle Of Polaroids

Polaroids allow you to focus on the details you can see in front of you on a daily basis. they give you the effect of a film camera but give instant results; something that makes them very appealing to me. A fascination of mine is looking through windows and looking at the panes as if they are individual images in the form of a grid each one individual to the section you look at.

 

The different types of lighting coming from windows also alters the visual appearance of an image making them dark and broody or light an airy. This mini project looks into both lighting and cropping to capture key features of Upnor castle.
